We Are Each Other's Harvest

“We are each other’s harvest; we are each other’s business; we are each other’s magnitude and bond.” – Gwendolyn Brooks
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We live in a broken world where the forces that seek to divide us are strong. To overcome them, we must do more than stand in silence—we must have the courage to listen and learn with action. Action is what separates belief from opinion. And beliefs are imprinted through daily actions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If we are each other's harvest, may we sow seeds of change and grace, proactively pull weeds of hate and division, tend with empathy, and labor toward each season with intention. May we be the farmer that puts our hands and heart to daily action.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
May we put the interest of the harvest above our own.

Philippians 2:1-4, "Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
