Glen & Effie is a Nashville-based jewelry line known for its timeless blend of antique and modern influences. Grounded in the values of generations who prized meticulous craftsmanship and meaningful intention, the brand bridges the gap between story and sentiment—creating heirlooms that feel equally beautiful, timeless and deeply personal.
ROOTED IN LEGACY
Originally founded in 2013 by Brooke Griffith, Glen & Effie began as a way to give new life to antique treasures, reviving forgotten heirlooms into wearable stories. Named after her grandparents, the brand is rooted in a legacy of quiet craftsmanship and enduring design—values passed down from simple farmers who lived with intention and grace. We believe everyone has their own Glen and Effie, those whose stories shape us, and whose legacy we carry forward in the things we make and keep.
DESIGNED WITH INTENT
With a background in design and art history, Brooke brings a studied yet instinctive eye to her work. Over the years, as her perspective has deepened and refined, the brand has evolved with her—from its beginnings in reworked vintage to a focused exploration of signature fine jewelry.
Today, her pieces are shaped by the contrasts she’s drawn to—femininity and form, softness and structure, history reimagined through a modern lens. Each design begins with a reverence for the past but is firmly grounded in the present. Each bespoke, intentional, and designed to be passed on.
OUR CRAFT
Our signature designs are thoughtfully crafted in our Nashville studio by a small, dedicated team. Each piece reflects a balance of tradition and innovation—where age-old techniques meet a refined, contemporary design perspective.
We proudly collaborate with casting and skilled partners across the Southern United States and carefully source exceptional gemstones and raw materials from trusted suppliers around the world. Whether part of our signature collection or a bespoke commission, every piece is made with intention, integrity, and commitment to craftsmanship.
OUR PROMISE
We prioritize reclaimed gemstones—especially antique cuts—for their rarity, history, and lighter footprint. These stones are treated with the reverence they deserve, brought back to life in pieces made to endure.
We also use recycled and responsibly sourced gold, reducing the need for new mining while preserving the integrity fine jewelry demands. When newly mined materials are necessary, we source them with care—partnering only with those who uphold ethical practices, fair labor, and transparent supply chains.
Every material we choose reflects what matters most to us: craftsmanship, responsibility, and care for both people and place.
GIVING BACK
Each year, we’re humbled by the number of donation requests we receive—and since the beginning, we’ve done our best to give where we could. In 2024, we made the decision to give more intentionally, focusing efforts on a place close to our roots.
Today, all of our giving supports the Future Farmers of America—specifically the East Tennessee chapters near Brooke’s family farm. The organization provides grants and educational opportunities for high schoolers pursuing agriculture, both in higher education and within their local communities.
Brooke spent much of her childhood on her grandparents’ farm—land that shaped her life and the values behind our brand. Through this initiative, she hopes to give back to that same community by helping create pathways to education, opportunity, and lasting growth for the next generation—planting seeds for a future as rooted and enduring as the one she came from.
