Sapphire and Diamond Arch Setting

Sapphire and Diamond Arch Setting

Our client came to us wanting to make a custom ring for his wife in our signature Arch setting. Like all of our signature designs, the Arch is meant to be a foundation—personalized and made your own. In this case, diamond baguettes were thoughtfully replaced with sapphires.

The CAD renderings of her final ring designs.

Our client knew she wanted to customize our Arch Signature Setting, but she knew she loved color and wanted to make it her own. We sourced the sapphire baguettes alongside two natural diamonds for our client to choose from - one from our partners in London and the other from New York.  Their grades were nearly identical—cut, clarity, carat, color—yet their dimensions vary just enough to make each feel unique.

A post shared by Glen & Effie (@glenaWe’re not traditional—we don’t stock a massive inventory of gems in our showroom. And while custom projects and sourcing specific gems may take a bit longer than walking into a traditional jewelry store, it also means something important: we’re never here to push a stone that isn’t meant for you. Every gem we source is chosen specifically for your vision, your piece, and your story.

The final ring was cast in 14k yellow gold and brought to life a custom iteration of our Arch Signature Setting.
The final, finished design.
