Statement Ring Made Stackable

Our client brought us this diamond statement ring that no longer felt like "her" or received the everyday wear she thought it would. She knew she wanted to convert it into several pieces, so we decided to move forward with a couple simple, modern designs to layer up in a ring stack and wear every day.

(Below) Sketches of the final designs our client decided to move forward with - from here we had both rings rendered digitally.

In addition to her diamond ring, she also had a princess cut diamond necklace to add to her new ring designs. Using this stone, we decided on an offset ring with an eternity band comprised with diamonds from her original ring.

Loving color, she wanted a pop of green to be added to her ring stack - so we sourced a baguette step-cut emerald to be set and framed with two of her existing diamonds.
Both rings were completed with a satin finish, inspired from recovered ancient roman jewelry, for a different take on a modern design. Together these two bands are not only great together, but make a great foundation to start a ring stack for future additions.

We were able to credit the weight of gold in our client's original setting to go towards her final commission total. And she was left with several remaining diamonds to create and use in future designs.
