Victorian, 9k gold intaglio seal featuring a hand carved agate stone with the image of a dog and the name "BEAUTY" delicately etched in the bottom of this rare piece of history. This fob pendant is paired with and hangs from an antique 9k solid gold chain from the same era.
This necklace measures a standard 20” on an antique 9K solid gold chain. The pendant measures 1" in height.

THE HISTORY

Man has always had a close bond with their dogs, but the Victorians often took pride in not only documenting their four-legged friends but memorializing them. This little etched seal features what appears to be a canine in the retriever family, with what we believe to be its name, "Beauty" etched above it.
