Victorian Turquoise and Seed Pearl Flower Pendant

The History:

This Victorian floral pin conversion pendant features five petals decorated with turquoise cabochons and clusters of seed pearls, surrounding a single pearl at the center. The sterling silver setting incorporates fine metalwork that separates the stones and gives each petal a distinct, sculptural shape.

Turquoise and seed pearls were a popular combination in nineteenth-century English jewelry, particularly in floral designs. Turquoise was traditionally associated with friendship and affectionate remembrance, while pearls were often used to represent purity and innocence. The shades of blue and green together with the irregular character of the seed pearls give this piece a particularly distinctive appearance.

This piece was originally made and sourced in England and shows wear consistent with age.

This piece measures 1.25" in length including the bail and just over 0.5" in width.

We recommend pairing this pendant with our Classic Gold Rolo Chain, Classic Silver Rolo Chain, Classic Slim Gold Omega Necklace, or Classic Small Gold Omega Necklace.
