Rowan Engagement Bracelet

This restored, Victorian engagement bracelet from the late 1800s features gold filled Etruscan design details. This gold filled bracelet comes from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from daughter to daughter.
This engagement bracelet is hinged at the side opens with a pinch clasp with a safety chain. This bracelet measures 2.25” across in inner diameter and 6.5” in inner circumference.
