Brevia Garnet Engagement Bracelet
The History Lesson:
This restored, Victorian engagement bracelet from the late 1800s feature hand-tooled and engraved Etruscan design details with six Bohemian Garnet stones. Engagement bracelets come from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from daughter to daughter.
This gold filled bracelet opens with a hinged spring clasp in the center measures 2.25” across in inner diameter, 6” in inner circumference at the smallest and 8" at the widest. This bracelet is flexible to fit various wrist sizes.
