"Stella" Floral Engagement Bracelet

Sale price$455.00

The History Lesson:

This restored Victorian engagement bracelet features gold filled design details showing an urn of flowers. This gold filled bracelet comes from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from daughter to daughter.

The bracelet is patented with the date December 16, 1879 and is hand-engraved with the name "Stella" on the back.

It measures 2.25” across in inner diameter and 6” in inner circumference, hinges at the center and is flexible to fit various wrist sizes.
