Matching Bird Engagement Bracelets
THE STORY:
These Victorian engagement bracelets feature matching hand-engraved bird motifs, rendered with delicate detail on each piece. They originate from a centuries-old tradition in which a groom would present his future bride with a pair of bracelets—one worn at the start of the engagement, and the second placed on her wrist on the day of her wedding. Often, sets like these were cherished and passed down from mother to daughter.
Surviving together with their matching mate, these bracelets are particularly rare.
Each bracelet measures approximately 2.5" in inner diameter and 3.5" when fully extended. Bracelets are sold as a pair.
