THE STORY:
This antique bloodstone fob from the late 1800s is encased in a gold filled setting with a wrapped knot bail. This piece is backed with a carnelian stone and swivels on its axis.
The quote, "I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I'll go to it laughing." from the book Moby Dick is etched on the front with hand-gilt lettering. Moby Dick is a novel by Herman Melville, originally published in 1851.
