THE STORY:
This early Edwardian diamond and emerald celestial brooch conversion dates to the early 1900s and features an alternating pattern of old cut emeralds and rose cut diamonds, creating a rhythmic, star-like composition characteristic of the period.
The piece bears hallmarks stamped 585, indicating 14-karat gold (58.5% pure gold by weight). Originally made and sourced in London, the pendant measures approximately 1.25" in width and 1.25" in height and features a hidden bail on the back of the star's point.
