The History:

These solid 10k and 14k gold Victorian stick pin and cufflink conversion pendants feature the finely sculpted face of a fox, complete with pointed ears, delicately textured fur, and pairs of red garnet and ruby eyes.

Foxes were beloved subjects in nineteenth-century jewelry, particularly in England, where their imagery reflected the traditions of the countryside and the popularity of fox hunting among Victorian society. Associated with cleverness, curiosity, and resourcefulness, the fox became a wonderfully expressive motif in sporting and novelty jewelry. These pendants are a delightful example of Victorian craftsmanship and the period's fascination with the natural world.

These pieces were originally made and sourced in England and show wear consistent with age. Three examples are available: one 14k gold fox with ruby eyes and two 10k gold foxes with garnet eyes.

These charms measure just under 0.75" in length including the bails and just over 0.25" in width.

We recommend pairing this pendant with our Classic Gold Rolo Chain, Classic Silver Rolo Chain, Classic Slim Gold Omega Necklace, or Classic Small Gold Omega Necklace.
