Enameled Blessing Bangle
THE STORY:
This blue enameled Victorian bracelet from the late 1800s has been well loved and worn in its over 200 years of life. This sterling silver design with the German words "Gott Mit Dir" on the facing--translating "God with you" or "God be with you"--once had individual pearls set and lined along each letter. With age and time, this design has since lost the original pearls and is showing it's well-worn age with chipped enamel throughout the bracelet. This bracelet is by no means in mint original condition, but we can't help but love its charm and sentiment still held in its hand engraved scroll details and blessing in its translated words.
This bracelet was sourced in England.
This sterling silver bracelet measures 2.25” across in inner diameter and 6.5” in inner circumference with a pinch and safety clasp.
