The History:

A remarkable Victorian miniature book locket in silver with gold-fill border detailing, featuring a gold heraldic shield with engraved block monogram "B" on the cover and a working clasp and hinge mechanism the functions to keep the book pages closed. The piece opens to reveal silver pages with German engraving onone page. Two pages have been left entirely blank.

This piece was originally made and sourced in England, measuring 0.75" wide and 1.25" from the bottom of the pendant to the top of the bail. Please note this locket shows light wear consistent with age.

This pendant is photographed with our Large Sterling Silver Charm Chain but pairs nicely with any necklace in our Classics Collection or with a chain of your own on one of our Swivel Clasps.
