The History:

This Victorian Lover's rocky crystal locket large domed rock crystal cabochon set in a simple gold bezel mount with delicate pin hinges. Fully functional as a locket featuring a glazed compartment behind the crystal, possibly intended to hold a lock of hair or a miniature portrait.

This piece was originally made and sourced in England and measures 1" in height from the top of the bail to the bottom of the piece, and 0.75" at its widest point. Please note this piece shows light wear to the outer glass that is consistent with age.

This locket is photographed with an antique solid gold Albert chain but pairs nicely with any necklace in our Classics Collection or with a chain of your own on one of our Swivel Clasps.
