Tourmaline Pendant From Heirloom Ring

Our client's original heirloom ring.
Our client came to us with a ring inherited from her mother—one she no longer wore and didn’t quite feel like her. She hoped to transform it into something more personal and wearable: a charm she could reach for every day.

The CAD renderings of our client's stone in its new setting.
To give it a modern feel, we reoriented the stone from its original setting and secured it with short, contemporary claw prongs.
The final, finished design.
A spring swivel clasp was added at the top, allowing the charm to slide easily onto a chain or clip into any necklace link she already owns.
