A Reimagined Wedding Ring

Our client's original emerald cut solitaire ring and two pairs of round diamond earrings.

Our client came to us with her original engagement ring, ready for a refresh that felt more aligned with her current style. Along with the ring, she brought two pairs of round diamond studs—hoping to repurpose everything into one bold, meaningful design.

The CAD renderings of our client's final design.
While she loved the idea of using all the stones, we landed on a more refined three-stone layout after reviewing CAD mockups and a 3D wax model she could see and try on in person. Her center emerald-cut diamond was just slightly narrower than the round side stones, so to create visual balance, we chose an open bezel setting. Not only did this allow more light in—maximizing brilliance—but it also gave the illusion that the center stone was larger than it actually is.

The final, finished ring.

The final piece was cast in yellow gold, with the stones arranged in a way that let her seamlessly stack her wedding and anniversary bands--a thoughtful upgrade that honored the past, reflected her present, and made space for her evolving style.
