Article: Emerald Pendant from Heirloom Ring

Emerald Pendant from Heirloom Ring

Emerald Pendant from Heirloom Ring

Our client's original heirloom ring from her mother.

Our client brought us her mother’s emerald and diamond ring—full of sentimental value but distinctly '90s in style. It didn’t fit, and more importantly, it wasn’t something she saw herself wearing every day.

The CAD design of the pendant before we began the creation process.

Knowing emeralds are soft and more prone to damage—and given her active lifestyle—she wanted a design that would protect the stone from everyday wear. Rather than resetting it into another ring, we decided a pendant would be the perfect solution.

The final, finished pendant.

Using the center emerald and surrounding diamonds, we created a 14k gold pendant in the shape of an Evil Eye—a symbolic, meaningful design that felt both protective and deeply personal.
