VICTORIAN OPALS MADE MODERN
Our client came to us with the sweetest Victorian opal pendant from the 1800s. This little piece of family history was originally designed as a stick pin, but had a modern bail added to it at one point.
After talking through different accessory options, our client decided to reset the opals as a new pendant. Wanting a modern redesign while still looking to Victorian and Art Deco design influences for inspiration, she primarily drifted towards a more geometric starburst design.
Wanting to keep the focus on her newly set antique opals, we kept the finished necklace simple and delicate. This sweet pendant ended up making a beautiful, classic staple that can worn and layered daily--and, more importantly, continue to be passed down through our client's family for generations to come.
