A Star-Set Band with Heirloom Gems

The wedding bands of our client's parents.
Our client came to us with a handful of heirlooms she’d recently inherited from her grandmother. She had always loved the look of older, star-set rings—but wanted a design that felt a bit more modern and better suited her personal style, especially alongside the white gold and silver jewelry she wears every day.

The CAD renderings of the final design before casting.
Using a larger diamond from her grandparents’ wedding bands and small rubies from a simple 1980s cocktail ring, we designed a wider band that felt timeless and wearable.

The final, finished ring.
he star-set design gave each stone its own moment, allowing them to stand out with intention—while the updated setting offered a fresh, modern take on the deeply sentimental pieces she now wears every day.
