A Star-Set Band with Heirloom Gems

The wedding bands of our client's parents.

Our client came to us with a handful of heirlooms she’d recently inherited from her grandmother. She had always loved the look of older, star-set rings—but wanted a design that felt a bit more modern and better suited her personal style, especially alongside the white gold and silver jewelry she wears every day.

Using a larger diamond from her grandparents’ wedding bands and small rubies from a simple 1980s cocktail ring, we designed a wider band that felt timeless and wearable.

he star-set design gave each stone its own moment, allowing them to stand out with intention—while the updated setting offered a fresh, modern take on the deeply sentimental pieces she now wears every day.
