Heirloom Discovery Terms of Service

1. Purpose of Appointment

Heirloom Discovery Appointments are complimentary, 30-minute consultations designed to help you understand the composition and potential of your personal jewelry pieces.

This is not a formal appraisal, resale evaluation, or pawn service. Our team offers insight into redesign opportunities and general trade-in value for solid gold items only.

2. Eligibility & Client Responsibility

By booking an appointment, you affirm that:

- You are at least 18 years old (or at least 16 with a parent or guardian present).

- You are the legal owner of all items brought to your appointment.

- Items are not stolen, counterfeit, or encumbered by third-party claims.

Glen & Effie reserves the right to refuse evaluation or service at its sole discretion.

3. Offer Terms

If your items qualify, you may choose from the following compensation options:

- Cash Value: 80% of the current melt value of accepted solid gold, minus a flat 2% processing fee.

- Store Credit: 100% of the current melt value, also subject to a 2% processing fee.

All store credit:

- Is non-transferable and carries no cash redemption value.

- Expires 365 days from the date of issue.

Offers are extended in good faith, based on live spot pricing, and are valid only during the time of appointment. Offers accepted are considered final and cannot be reversed or adjusted.

4. No Guarantee of Value or Service

Glen & Effie does not guarantee acceptance or redesign of any item. Some items may not meet design or material requirements.

We reserve the right to decline any offer, redesign project, or trade-in submission without explanation.

5. Security & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. For regulatory purposes, we may request photo identification at the time of your appointment.

Any information provided is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellations & Late Arrivals

Out of courtesy for our team and other clients:

- Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

- If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule.

- Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

7. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling or attending a Heirloom Discovery Appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
