OLD EUROPEAN DIAMOND REDESIGN

OLD EUROPEAN DIAMOND REDESIGN

The client's original ring: a compass setting with prongs too small to realistically hold our client's diamond.

Our client brought us her engagement ring looking for a different design solution: originally set in a compass design with small prongs, she had taken her ring in to be tightened and serviced several times after becoming loose--ultimately leaving her stone spinning dangerously in the setting.

The CAD design of the final ring design.
After talking through and understanding the active lifestyle she lived daily, we landed on a bezel setting to protect her stunning antique European cut diamond.

We were able to have a 3D wax model printed of the final design to ensure the perfect fit for not just our client's stone, but to ensure the design was just what she wanted.

The final, finished ring.

The final, finished ring ended up being a truly stunning, classic and sleek design that was safe to stand up to her everyday active lifestyle.
