Turquoise Poison Locket
This one-of-a-kind necklace is composed of:
-
Compartment pendant link with glass turquoise detail—likely from the 1900-20s. Truthfully, we’re not 100% certain of these little bauble compartment’s backstory, but we’ve asked several people extremely knowledgable in antiquities and the main consensus is that they could have been used or designed after poison jewelry from the 1600-1800s. These little compartments were found connected in a series of 4, that could have originally been a bracelet or necklace.
-
This necklace measures a standard 18” on a 14k gold filled chain.
