Trinity Victorian Engagement Bracelet
The History Lesson:
This restored Victorian engagement bracelet features gold filled Etruscan design with two-tone metal design details. This gold filled bracelet comes from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from daughter to daughter.
This bracelet in particular came to us with a story tied to the three strands woven alongside each side of the piece:
"It is an amazing 'Cord of Three Strands" design on each side as described in Ecclesiastes 4:12 with says, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken."
This engagement bracelet features Etruscan and floral details and opens with a spring clasp in the center. Bracelet measures 2.5” across in inner diameter and 6.5” in inner circumference.
