Fraternal Scale Pendant
This one-of-a-kind necklace is composed of:
-
Victorian men’s watch fob pendant from the late 1800s featuring a scale with the letters “F.L.T.” on the front while the back of the pendant shows an all-seeing eye. This pendant originally came from a gentleman who was a member of The Knights of Pythias—a fraternal organization and secret society founded in Washington, D.C., on 19 February 1864. The letters “F.L.T.”—standing for Friendship, Loyalty, and Truth—represented pillars of character that each member was to live by and uphold.
-
Victorian gold filled watch fob clasp and toggle.
-
This necklace measures a standard 32” on a 14k gold filled chain.
