THE STORY:
These Czech glass pieces were found in an abandoned jewelry factory in West Germany. During WWII, many European factories shut down and their contents were placed into storage so the facilities could be used for wartime efforts. After the war, with many cities and towns recovering from structural damage, a lot of these factories were forgotten and abandoned - along with their contents. These glass pieces were found and recovered unused in their original packaging, never made into their original intention.
Each little glass piece has not only survived a war, but has nearly 100 years of age behind them.
