Lore Etruscan Engagement Bracelet

Lore Etruscan Engagement Bracelet

The History Lesson:

This restored Victorian engagement bracelet features a gold filled Etruscan design with mismatching geometric ends. This gold filled bracelet comes from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from daughter to daughter.

This engagement bracelet opens with a spring set in the center: allowing the bracelet to slide on the wrist when the sides are lifted up.
