Tuscan Engagement Bracelet

Tuscan Engagement Bracelet

The History Lesson:

This restored Victorian engagement bracelet dates back to the 1900s and features a uniform sphere design. This gold filled bracelet comes from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from daughter to daughter.

This engagement bracelet opens with a spring set in the center: allowing the bracelet to slide on the wrist when the sides are lifted up.

This bracelet measures 2.5" in diameter and fits comfortably on the wrist.

***the spring in this design is original, making it over 100 years old - we suggest light to moderate wear in order to maintain and keep the bracelet's function in pristine condition.
